Setting Up Unrulr Logins (Step-by-Step)
1. Go to your Parent Portal
2. Open ENROLLMENT → General Student Information
3. Add a unique student email (Gmail or will auto-create Microsoft login)
4. Submit enrollment tasks
5. Each student now has their own Unrulr login tied to their email
Option A: Creating a Student Gmail (Recommended)
1. Go to Gmail.com
2. Click “Create Account”
3. Select “For my child”
4. Create username + password
5. Write these down somewhere safe
6. Log into the student device using that Gmail
7. Visit Unrulr → Click Sign in with Google
8. Chrome will prompt “Save Password?” Click YES
Option B: Finding Microsoft Login (Step-by-Step)
1. Go to Parent Portal
2. Click LIBRARY on the left menu
3. Find the Unrulr tile
4. Click “Show Credentials”
5. Copy username + password
6. Click “Access Product”
7. On Unrulr login screen: - If username is Gmail → Click Sign in with Google - If Microsoft → Enter username + password
Creating Chrome Profiles (Important for Multiple Students)
1. Open Chrome
2. Click the profile circle (top right)
3. Click ADD
4. Choose a name (e.g., Emma – School)
5. Log in using the student’s Gmail
6. Repeat for each student Result: ✔ Separate bookmarks ✔ Separate passwords ✔ No mixed accounts
Saving Passwords Correctly
1. Log into Chrome with the student’s Gmail
2. Go to Unrulr login
3. Enter username + password
4. When Chrome prompts “Save password?” → Click SAVE
5. If Chrome saved the wrong one → Settings → Passwords → Remove → Re-save
Bookmarking Login Pages
1. Go to the student’s Unrulr login
2. Click the star in the Chrome URL bar
3. Choose “Add Bookmark”
4. Save inside folder: “Unrulr – Logins”
5. Repeat for each student
Fixing HEIC Photos (iPhone Step-by-Step)
1. Open Settings
2. Tap Camera
3. Tap Formats
4. Select MOST COMPATIBLE
5. New photos now upload without converting
Converting Existing HEIC Photos
Method 1: Email
1. Photos → Select → Share → Mail
2. Choose “Large” or “Actual Size”
3. Save the emailed photo
4. Upload to Unrulr
Method 2: Copy → Paste
1. Photos → Select → Share → Copy
2. Open Notes → New note → Paste
3. Tap photo → Save Image
4. Upload JPEG version
Converting Videos to MP4
Method 1: Save to Files
1. Photos → Select video
2. Share → Save to Files
3. Upload from Files
Method 2: Trim
1. Photos → Select video
2. Edit → Trim 1 sec → Save as New Clip
3. Upload MP4 version
Troubleshooting
If Unrulr rejects a file:
• Convert HEIC → JPEG
• Convert MOV → MP4
• Upload from FILES instead of Photos
If the wrong student shows:
• Switch Chrome profiles
• Sign out and choose the correct Gmail
If the password fails:
• Remove saved password in Chrome
• Re-enter and save
