The Interim Measures of Student Success and Achievement (iMSSA) help to track student's growth in Reading, Writing & Language Usage, and Math.

Q: Which students need to take the iMSSA? 

A: All RISE students in grades 3-8 will need to take the iMSSA.

Q: When will this assessment be administered? 

A: iMSSA is administered three times a year in the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Q: Is this assessment virtual or in-person? 

A: This assessment is administered virtually. 

Q: How do I schedule this assessment? 

A: No need to do any scheduling - your student will take this assessment during instructional hours with their teacher. We'll send you an email with the details so your family can feel prepared. 

Q: What should my student expect during the assessment? How long will it take?

A:  Each subject (Reading, Language Usage, and Mathematics) will be given on a different day; each subject requires about 60-90 minutes with a break. 

A proctor will be available to assist your student as needed.

Q: How can I view my student's results?

A: Once they're available, you can view your student's results through the Assessments page of the OpenEd platform.
