Additional Support Through Student Success

Some students need a little extra support to overcome academic challenges, and we're here to help.

If your student is experiencing significant learning barriers or has been identified through OpenEd's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process, you can schedule a consultation with our Student Success team.

During this conversation, we'll learn more about your student's needs and determine whether additional supports, including free short-term 1:1 tutoring, would be beneficial.

When appropriate, support may include:

  • Short-term individualized tutoring sessions
  • Targeted academic goals
  • Progress monitoring
  • A Structured Intervention Plan with recommended next steps

A Structured Intervention Plan is a short-term, targeted support plan designed around your student's specific needs. Its purpose is to help you identify the most effective next steps for your student's learning. Depending on your student's needs, the plan may include instructional strategies, skill-based interventions, curriculum recommendations or adjustments, tutoring, and parent coaching or modeling to help you confidently support learning at home.

This support is provided based on student need and is not requested through the Marketplace. If the Student Success team determines these services are appropriate, we'll work directly with your family to develop a personalized plan, explain the recommended supports, and guide you through the next steps.

If you'd like to learn more or discuss your student's needs, you can schedule a consultation with our Student Success team here.

Choosing the Right Support

Families are encouraged to choose the support option that best matches their student’s needs:

  • Daily Learning Labs are best for flexible, drop-in help.
  • Learning PODS are best for targeted skill practice or assessment preparation.
  • Individual Tutoring is best for personalized, ongoing one-on-one support.
  • Additional support may be recommended by the Student Success team when a student needs more structured intervention.

Our goal is to help every student access the right level of support at the right time.
