The North Dakota Academic Progression of Learning and Understanding of Students (also known as ND A+) interim assessments are used to measure in-year growth and student progress towards end of year proficiency goals.

Q: Which students take the ND A+ interim assessments? 

A: North Dakota students in grades K-8 take the ND A+ interim assessments in Reading and Math.

Q: When will these assessments be administered?

A: Students in grades K-8 will take this screener two times a year: in the Fall and Winter. 

Q: Are these assessments virtual or in-person?

A: These assessments are administered virtually. 

Q: How do I schedule these assessments? 

A: Scheduling will be available directly through the Assessments tab of our platform!

Q: What is the participation expectation for these assessments?

A: OpenEd students are expected to participate in these assessments, but you have the option to decline to participate.
