Q: Which students need to take the FastBridge Math & Literacy screener?
A: Oregon students in grades K-1 will need to take this screener.
Q: When will this screener be administered?
A: This screener is administered two times a year in the Winter and Spring.
Q: Is this screener virtual or in-person?
A: This screener is administered virtually.
Q: How do I schedule this screener?
A: Once the scheduling window opens, you will be able to set a time through the Assessments tab of the OpenEd platform.

Q: What should my student expect during the screener? How long will it take?
A: This screener takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
On the day of your student's assessment, please join the Zoom link at the scheduled time. A proctor will be present in the Zoom room to monitor the test and give verbal instructions.
A parent is allowed to be in the room to assist with technical issues and help your student stay on track (but parents are not allowed to provide any help with the assessment).
For Kindergarteners:
Your student will need one window open for Zoom on the video-capable device of their choosing (phones aren't allowed).
During the session administered in the Fall, your student will need one printed worksheet - you'll receive that info, along with further instructions, on the day before your scheduled test.
For 1st graders:
Your student will need one window open for Zoom on the video-capable device of their choosing (phones aren't allowed).

A: OpenEd students are expected to participate, but you may decline to participate through the Assessments tab of our platform.
