7.3 Utah Aspire Plus (Utah)
The Utah Aspire Plus assessment is a hybrid of ACT Aspire and Utah Core test items. It’s a computer delivered, fixed form end-of-grade-level high school assessment for students in 9 and 10.

Q: Which students take the Utah Aspire Plus assessment?
A: Utah students in grades 9 and 10 take this assessment.
Q: When will this assessment be administered?
A: Utah Aspire Plus is administered once a year in the Spring.
Q: Is this assessment virtual or in-person?
A: This assessment is administered virtually.
Note: If your student is taking any split-enrolled classes, then they will take this assessment in-person instead of virtually.
(But remember - you can choose to opt your student out of this assessment!)

Q: What should my student expect during the assessment? How long will it take?
A: The Reading and Math portions of the Utah Aspire Plus assessment each take about 75 minutes. The Science portion takes about one hour.
Each subject must be completed in one sitting (so once your student begins a subject, they must finish it).
Utah Aspire Plus uses the TestNav secure browser during testing. Your student will have access to tools like calculators and bookmarks. You can access practice tests here.
