Q: Do live lessons replace independent work?
A: No. Live lessons are designed to provide instruction, structure, and interaction. Students are still expected to complete independent assignments and learning activities outside of these sessions.
Q: How long are students expected to attend each day?
A: Students are expected to attend up to two hours per day of live lessons.
Q: What happens if my student misses a session?
A: If a student misses a live lesson, the absence will be recorded. Students can show engagement via asynchronous learning for attendance Families should contact their student’s teacher or the RISE support team to discuss any missed instruction and, if applicable, provide documentation for excused absences.
Q: Where can I find my student’s schedule?

Q: Do these lessons count toward official attendance?
A: Yes. Attendance in live lessons is recorded and counts toward the student’s official attendance record.
Q: What technology is needed to attend live lessons?
A: Students will need a reliable internet connection and a device capable of joining live sessions. Teachers will provide login instructions and support for any technical requirements.
