Looking for details on how to enroll? Take a look at our enrollment process overview.

What Your Enrollment Gets You

1. Premium educational resources.

You can use your program funds in a few different ways:

  • Get reimbursed for approved educational expenses
  • Place direct orders for approved materials through Amazon and Rainbow Resource with no out-of-pocket expenses
  • Browse a wide range of curriculum options through the OpenEd marketplace

2. Support and tutoring.

OpenEd is proud to offer several live support options throughout the year designed to meet different student needs.

Some supports are available to all students, while others are designed for students with specific academic goals or identified needs.

Learn about all of our tutoring options here.

3. Live community events and clubs.

Every month, we lead fun, engaging events and clubs centered around what students are excited about.

We'll send you a newsletter on the 20th of every month reviewing next month's offerings.

Learn more about our OpenEd clubs and events here.

What We'll Ask From You

To stay enrolled, your student needs to:

1. Submit a weekly learning log.

To demonstrate their active participation in the program, your student will use our
platform to submit a short summary of what they learned throughout the week.

We strongly encourage students to submit their own learning logs, but parents can
also submit logs for their students if necessary.

Learn more about learning logs here.

2. Stay informed about Montana's education laws.

For the 26-27 school year, your student will not be enrolled in a public school as part of the OpenEd program. As such, participation in OpenEd does not cover Montana's attendance requirements. Whether you homeschool or attend a private school, it's up to you to ensure you're complying with state education laws.
